There are influencer career pivots, and then there is learning a Broadway role. Whitney Leavitt’s 2026 trajectory belongs in the second category.
The Shubert Organization confirms that Leavitt made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago at New York’s Ambassador Theatre on February 2, 2026. Its February announcement also documented a return engagement scheduled for March 23 through April 5.
Those dates are past milestones, not a claim that she is performing that engagement now. They nevertheless explain why her story deserves attention beyond the usual reality-TV recap: the Utah-based performer stepped into a long-running professional stage production.
There was another national platform in June. The Tony Awards’ official May 29 announcement included Leavitt in the lineup for a special performance celebrating Chicago’s 30th anniversary at the ceremony.
For Utah viewers, the compelling thread is the move between formats: short-form dance, ensemble television and a live stage. Each asks something different of a performer. Leavitt’s Broadway credit is the part of that story that can be checked against a theatre announcement, rather than inferred from a viral clip.
